WHERE DID GEOMETRY COME FROM?

Geometry has a story.

Mathematics did not suddenly appear in a textbook. People developed it over thousands of years because they had real problems they needed to solve.

Early practical geometry

Ancient Egypt

Babylonia

Greek geometry
